This past week, BSF Alpine’s Comp teams took on the Lone Peak Speed Series in Big Sky. Wednesday and Thursday consisted of drills and free skiing, working on different elements of the speed disciplines like tucks and aerodynamic form, terrain management, and high speed skiing. They also had the chance to take some laps off of man-made jumps and terrain on the race hill prior to the event.
The races that followed, although cold and snowy, went great for the team. The athletes managed to keep the vibes and stoke high despite challenging course conditions and low visibility. Truly, you’ve never seen a louder start than when a BSF skier was in the gate!
The amazing start vibes and overall enthusiasm of the team made for a fun week of Super G with some great team results to show for it! Next up: Whitefish!
