Michela Adrian
Skimo Coach
Michela grew up skiing on the east coast following her ski patroller dad around. She headed to Middlebury College to study Environmental Studies and French and to run cross country and indoor/outdoor track. She skied as often as possible on days off. After college she headed west and ended up ski patrolling at Mammoth Mountain in California where she also learned about the sport of Ski Mountaineering. After years of training, racing and acquiring gear, she eventually qualified for the US Ski Mountaineering Team in 2017 and 2019. Michela competed for USA Skimo at the ISMF World Championships in Europe twice; the first time in 2017 while in the MSU nursing program! Later, she coached skimo for two years in Bozeman. She now works as an Emergency Department RN in Bozeman and is excited to start a Skimo team for BSF! In addition Michela volunteers for USA Skimo and continues to compete in skimo and running and mtn biking for fun.
