Bring your holiday spirit, wear your most festive gear (lights encouraged!), and join us for a fun evening of cheer on snow with lighted trails at Sunset Hills. Stick around for cookies and cocoa, and bring the whole crew! All ages and abilities are welcome, including out-of-town holiday guests. Let’s celebrate the ski season together!

3.5km or 6.5 km
A longtime classic ski tradition! Classic ski into the 1-mile marker for a warm-up, then choose your challenge: the 3.5 km race to the outhouse or the 6.5 km race to the bridge. Whether you're racing for a personal best or just enjoying the climb, come be part of the fun!
Stick around at the trailhead after the race for snacks, warm drinks and good company. All ages and abilities welcome!

A fan favorite! This festive costume relay brings together all ages & abilities for a relay full of laughter and creative costumes. Gather a team of 2 or 4, coordinate your costumes, or ski in something totally unique. Each lap is 1.5 km, and while we encourage skate skiing, classic enthusiasts are of course welcome!
Stick around at the trailhead after the race for snacks, warm drinks and good company. All ages and abilities welcome!

3 hours: how many laps can you (or your team) complete between 5pm and 8 pm?
Let’s wrap up the series with a fun evening ski-a-thon at Lindley/Sunset Hills! See how many laps you can ski. Gather a team of 2 or 4, or challenge yourself to a 3-hour solo ski (with friends cheering you on!). Skate ski, classic ski, or mix it up - every lap counts. We’ll have aid stations with drinks and snacks to keep you fueled as you check in each lap. Stick around afterward for some end-of-season cheer and good company. Come ski, celebrate and close out the Nordic Nights Series together.
