ABOUT DRYLAND TRAINING
Summer dryland training is designed to keep athletes fit while having fun. We hike, bike, run, and play organized games (like soccer and frisbee). With BSF's professional coaches, you'll explore beautiful mountain trails and create new adventures.
Athletically, it helps develop cardiovascular capacity, endurance, flexibility, strength, and balance. But it's also about enjoying our environment and developing team-building skills, confidence, and friendships.
NO SKILLS NECESSARY
All kids are welcome to join us. BSF Alpine team will also join us. (Soccer players, runners, outdoor enthusiasts, etc.) No specific ski skills are necessary to take part, and dryland training benefits all types of athletic and outdoor pursuits. No prior fitness levels requirements. In other words, as long as you want to move and enjoy the outdoors, COME JOIN US.

Grades 4-10
Camp 1: Week of June 10
Mon- Thurs: 4:30 - 6 pm
Camp 2: Week of July 15
Mon- Thurs: 4:30 - 6
Join us for four sessions in Bozeman, where athletes can develop their roller ski skills in a safe and structured environment. This camp is intended for new and experienced roller skiers alike. Coaches will guide athletes through progressions aimed at learning basic safety skills, as well as building agility, balance, and coordination on pavement. Sessions will include stopping skills, cone drills, slaloms, and games. All sessions will be hosted within a parking lot with the option to practice some street skiing in a quiet neighborhood on the last session.
We highly recommend the Roller Ski Camp for all U14 athletes who are interested in joining the Devo Progressive Team and training on roller skis throughout the summer and fall. Additionally, we recommend all athletes 10+ to start practicing their basic roller ski skills so they are ready to hit the pavement as older athletes.
EQUIPMENT:All athletes must have a well-fitted helmet and skate ski boots (if you need to rent gear, email us). Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Skate ski poles are optional. BSF will provide a fleet of roller skis for athletes to use (most skis are NNN bindings compatible). If you have your own pair of roller skis, bring them.
Cost: $150 per camp
