The 2024 US Freestyle Junior National Championships brought together the top athletes in moguls and dual moguls to compete head to head for the opportunity to be crowned Junior National champion. Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) had six athletes qualify to attend the event, with five competing in Park City, Utah, March 13-17, 2024.
Ian Tuttle: Qualified 2nd and finished 15th in U15 men single finals; tied for 16th In duals.
Oliver Lacey: Qualified 18th and finished 11th in U17 men single finals; tied for 32 In duals.
Meg Papke: Qualified 5th and finished 5th in U17 women single finals; 4th in duals.
Makayla Papke: Qualified 7th in U19 singles and finished 7th in the finals; 6th in duals
Angela Hartsell: 33rd in U15 women singles and tied for 46th in duals.
With such strong finishes, Oliver Lacey, Ian Tuttle, Makayla Papke, and Meg Papke all earned invitations to the US National Championships in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, March 20th-24th. They'll be among the top 60 athletes in the country, as well as US Ski Team members, competing for the overall championship title, as well as invites to future freestyle events.
