Last weekend MSU held their 2nd Annual Rail Jam event. This year, BSF was a heritage sponsor for the event and MSU opened it up to athletes under 18. I was really excited to be a part of the planning process this year and was fortunate enough to work closely with the crew at ASMSU to put it all together. 

This event is a great way to introduce our community to freeskiing and snowboarding. It is very much a crowd pleaser event with tents up from local sponsors, food trucks, and raffles. The crowd turnout this year was huge which really helped fuel the athletes.

We had several BSF athletes competing this year. On the men’s ski side of things, we had two athletes make it to finals, Casper Lemley and Rylan Messner. On the women’s snowboard side we had Alyvia Leipheimer making it to finals. In the end, Rylan and Alyvia both took home 3rd place and $100 cash with a big check in their name!
