Taiga grew up on skis in Aspen, Colorado, and after skiing in the west for his whole life, made the move to Maine to ski for the Mules of Colby College. He graduated in 2025 with a degree in English, and after a year in the Midwest, decided it was time to return to the mountains in the west and pursue his skiing goals with BSF. He’s an avid climber (sidelined by a pulley injury), biker, and backcountry skier. When they’re not lunging for the win, he and teammate Anders can often be found duking it out on mountain bike trails that nobody was aware even existed.
